Designing My Best Life (“we,” “us,” or “our”), owned and operated by Lori Koza, respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through www.designingmybestlife.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us. We collect the information you choose to share, such as:
- Your name, email address, and message when you email us.
- Your email address when you ask to join our newsletter.
- Your name, email address, and any answers you provide when you book a session through our scheduling tool.
- Information you share during coaching sessions or in follow-up emails and calls.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, which can include your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visited. We do not currently use advertising or analytics tracking on the Site. If that changes, we will update this policy.
Third-party services
The Site uses a few trusted outside services that may receive information from your browser:
- Calendly handles appointment scheduling. Information you enter when booking is collected and stored by Calendly and is subject to Calendly’s Privacy Notice. Calendly may use cookies.
- Google Fonts provides the Site’s typefaces. Loading them sends your IP address to Google, as described in Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Email and payment providers we use to communicate with you and process payments handle your information under their own privacy policies.
How we use your information
- To respond to your questions and schedule sessions.
- To provide coaching services and related support.
- To send the newsletter, if you asked to receive it.
- To process payments and keep business records.
- To comply with legal obligations.
How we share your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers described above so they can perform services for us, or when required by law.
Confidentiality of coaching
What you share in coaching is kept confidential. See our Terms & Refund Policy for the limited exceptions.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide our services, keep accurate business records, and meet legal requirements.
Your choices
- You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by replying to any newsletter or emailing us.
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing us.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
The Site and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Links to other websites
The Site may link to other websites, such as LinkedIn. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it last changed.
